Background

Over the past two years, SA Power Networks has undertaken an extensive community engagement program to determine what services and programs we should deliver, and what investments we should make, during the next regulatory period (2025 – 2030). This work has culminated in our Draft Proposal.

The Draft Proposal has been informed by the input of nearly 2,000 people and is founded on four broad themes:

Our Draft Proposal reflects the views and priorities of our customers and stakeholders, balancing price and services in the short term while positioning the network for the renewable energy future.

Consultation Process

For 5 weeks, between 26 July and 31 August, we invited feedback on our Draft Proposal. We wanted to know if customers thought our Draft Proposal reflected what they had told us during our engagement, and whether we had the right balance, and had effectively considered the investments required and the cost to deliver these investments, in the best interests for South Australia?

Feedback

Twenty-five organisations and individuals provided feedback on our Draft Proposal, either by lodging a submission, sending us an email, or completing an online survey. We thank everybody who provided feedback. We are reviewing all feedback provided as part of the process of preparing our final submission for the Australian Energy Regulator.

You can view the submissions that were lodged through the Submissions folder on the right hand side menu of this page. Please note that submissions have been redacted to protect personal information.
