One of the four key themes of our Reset Strategy is to ensure an Affordable and Equitable Energy Supply for our customers, which means we need to put the community voice at the forefront of our core decision-making as to the overall pricing outcomes and tariff designs in our Regulatory Proposal.

Our Reset process focuses on talking to customers and the community to understand how we can balance the performance of our network services and the costs associated with providing them.

Mark Vincent, Executive General Manager, Strategy and Transformation, talks about the importance of gaining community advice and feedback on making our services affordable and accessible, especially for vulnerable and disadvantaged customers.

We know that for many customers, a sizeable part of their income is spent on energy, especially for people from vulnerable and diverse backgrounds. Our Reset engagement aims to provide the opportunity to ensure equitable energy supply for all our customers, while also ensuring adequate investment to support customers’ desired service levels.

Balancing affordability and services, managing intergenerational equality, tariff design, and how we support more vulnerable customers are some of the key areas we are keen to learn more about from our customers and stakeholders as we engage with them.
