• The role of social media in amplifying criticism of vegetation management activities.
• The need for improved public education on clearance requirements and SAPN’s vegetation management processes.
• Potential for members to advocate for balancing tree canopy preservation with reliable electricity supply.
• Members advocating for better vegetation-related outcomes in the PLEC scheme, including consideration of the 30% canopy target.
