The purpose of the CER Integration Advisory Group (CERIAG) is to discuss and provide recommendations on energy transition issues and opportunities directly related to Customer Energy Resource (CER) integration and demand flexibility matters. The CERIAG seeks to engage with both SA and national industry stakeholders to examine CER-related matters through the following four lenses:

  • Technology: what future technology will be required to integrate greater customer energy resources, and how can we ensure this is done safely, efficiently and cost-effectively for all?
  • Policy: what policy and regulatory levers can support ongoing CER uptake and integration?
  • Customer: how do customers engage with the energy transition, and how can we ensure the future of CER is customer-centric? How do we engage customers in demand flexibility initiatives, and what benefit can this provide for all customers? *
  • Retail: how can future retail offers be designed to create shared value across the full energy supply chain?

*NB: deeper or more specific matters of customer experience, affordability and equity will be referred to the relevant working group or the CAF for discussion there.
