Who can nominate/lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI) to be part of an Advisory Group?
We encourage individuals as well as people representing a range of areas such as consumers, businesses, communities and the environment to nominate to be part of our consultative groups.
Do I need any skills or qualifications to nominate?
We encourage people to have a basic understanding of the electricity network and to be able to constructively contribute to a Group.
While several groups require some members to have specific knowledge (for example, the Vegetation Advisory Group requires several members to have arboricultural expertise), we are also encouraging people with lived experiences and who can represent their communities to nominate.
When do nominations close?
Nominations close at 5:00pm, 21 March 2024 and must be submitted via the EOI form available on this website.
When will I find out if my nomination was successful?
We will be adopting the new Consultative Group Model in April 2024 and therefore expect to advise all people who have lodged an Expression of Interest of the outcome no later than 30 April 2024.
