Our 2020-25 Regulatory Proposal was submitted on 31 January 2019

On 31 January 2019, we submitted our 2020-25 Regulatory Proposal for managing the SA electricity distribution network with the Australian Energy Regulator. Our plans explain how we are looking to deliver electricity distribution services across South Australia into the future, and how we're delivering better outcomes for helping to make electricity more affordable for all.

If approved, the Proposal will deliver an average reduction of $40 for residential customers and $111 for small-to-medium-sized businesses from 1 July 2020. This is broadly consistent with likely outcomes outlined last August when our 2020-25 Draft Plan was released for consultation.

The amount of savings individual customers received in 2020-21 will depend on the outcome of the regulatory process, how customers use energy, and to what extent retailers pass on the reduction in network charges.

The AER has published all 2020-25 Regulatory Proposal documentation here. Submissions on our 2020-25 Regulatory Proposal are now open - more information regarding this process can be found on the AER's website here.
